'in the Eye of the Storm' treats the baritone saxophone quartet as one organism and explores the instrument's different registers. In the first few minutes, the saxophones fluctuate around a sounding d, using bisbigliandos. Gradually, every individual voice expands until it reaches an organic structure. This piece has no hierarchy; each player is equally important and has a leading function.
