IN THE EYE OF THE STORM
Performance Hall, Royal College of Music, London
The woodwind department of the Royal College of Music will perform my piece 'In the Eye of the Storm'. It treats the baritone saxophone quartet as a single organism and explores the instrument's various registers. In the first few minutes, the saxophones fluctuate around a sounding D, using bisbigliandos. Gradually, every individual voice expands until it reaches an organic structure. This piece has no hierarchy; each player is equally important and serves as a leader.

Due to overwhelming success and audience demand, 'Van de Aarde naar de Maan' (From the Earth to the Moon) is returning for three performances! Join us on April 4th at Uyttenhove in Lochristi to experience this immersive story. There will be a live orchestra surrounding the audience. Fiene Zasada will return as narrator, and I will be conducting.

Highlights from his orchestral music, film scores, musical numbers, and more will be featured. Taking the stage are artists who have previously collaborated with the composer.
